Held by Solidarity with Belarus Information Office in collaboration with Press Club Polska, Belarus in Focus is a competition for journalists writing about Belarus, for an audience outside of Belarus. Deadline for submissions:  extended to Sunday, January 27, 2013.

We welcome all articles published between November 16, 2011 and December 31, 2012. If applicable, please make sure you have permission from your editor-in-chief before submitting your article. If your article was not originally written in English, please submit it with an English translation. You may make up to three submissions.

Candidates who have been short-listed will be announced on the competition website by February 15, 2013 and invited to a workshop in Warsaw in spring 2013. The winners will be announced at an award ceremony during the workshop.
